My wife Barbara bought me this 1948 Black Bakelite electric
" hot water " bottle by ROTHEMEL as a wedding anniversary present !!!! Cast Black phenolic full working order...made my day !!!

So here is Barbara .. my long suffering wife. I tried to explain to her that the Orient Express did not provide a " happy hour service " ...but our Champers waiter was kept busy !!!!

A recent find .....whilst rummaging at a local carboot sale ....

Me trying to look suave and sophisticated under the influence of excess draught Grolsch at the Hotel Ibis London !!! Alcoholic refreshment was needed after a superb and fruitful visit to the Art Deco fair at Battersea Town Hall !!!

Above we have Matthew my son or " Alco Boy " as I have nicknamed him !!! Due to regular services rendered to all the major Breweries currently available... Matt is currently studying Business I.T.and beer at University, has his own website ( see my links page ) ... please check out the alcohol induced red eye??? Update .. Matthew seems to be well on his way to achieving his Masters in alcohol abuse !!!
